Picky Eaters' Book Dinner at Woodwards Garden |
February 8, 2013 |
 |
Mark your calendars, summon your appetites, and please join me on February 8th at Woodwards Garden in San Francisco for a Picky Eaters' book dinner at 6PM.
The meal begins when you breeze in from the San Francisco streets and have a golden glass of Prosecco pressed into your hand. Next, you will sit down to a sumptuous and specially prepared meal that focuses on making the biggest picky eater bugaboos delicious. The updated and finalized menu is:
Glass of Prosecco
Brussels sprouts, toasted hazelnuts, pomegranates, Parmigiano-Reggiano
Ace beet ravioli, raspberry, brown butter, caramelized onions
Braised Maple Leaf duck leg, turnips, grapefruit
Honey-roasted quince, taleggio, almonds
While you tuck into the best victuals that Woodwards Garden has to offer on a chill February eve, I will regale you with tales of picky eating from Suffering Succotash and encourage you to take part in the discussion which, by the way, could revolve around picky eating, or segue into books, the writing process, and food. (I'm suggestible!) Also, copies of the book will be available if you're inclined to take some Suffering home with you.
The dinner is $45 per person (does not include tax & gratuity), and you can reserve your place at the picky table via Woodwards Garden on Opentable. Just note in the "Special Requests" field that you are reserving for the "Suffering Succotash Picky Eaters' Book Dinner" and everything will be just dandy.
Do come, I'd love to meet and eat with you.
